Remember photospheres in the G+ web version?
Well, they’re back (in the new design), let’s just hope it’s not too late.. I remember quite a few communities for spheres, I don’t know if they’re still there tho.

Hey folks, over the next few days, we’ll be rolling out photo sphere support in the G+ web lightbox. This will work for all new and existing photo spheres shared on G+. Enjoy!

I have a strong feeling Google finally did succeed in killing G+. It’s just us stubborn ones hanging on while they do token changes.
The “new” design (it’s been around for a while now, but only recently have they taken away the classic option) seems to follow Google’s 2016 strategy: take a fully working product and replace it with something inferior.
