yup, that’s the one.. Google messenger -> Android Messages and probably just “Messenger” soon because logic.
RCS is supposed to come this spring in Norway, Google has teamed up with Telenor and 9 other major telecompanies. For the time beeing it’s only Android Messages who support it.
RCS is interesting, but it’ll will probably come as a feature in Googles “messenger” -app first (whenever that is), just because you need yet another app for messaging.
It’s about time they integrate SMS (soon RCS) into Allo and they have a killer messenger app. But Justin Uberti and Google have desided that the future is not all-in-one app… If you look at all comments around the internet about Allo, most people want it itegrated, incl me 🙂
Gisle EnÃ¥sen look at this beautiful overview someone made in a comment somewhere, and then try to picture a meeting where everybody agreed on this being a clever solution… yeah, me neither.
