  5. Heather B. This is how I made mine. Knock yourself out 🙂

    Approx 450g/16OZ of Oreo Cookies

    100g/3,5OZ melted butter

225g/8OZ softened cream cheese – I used Regular Phildelphia

    2,5dl/1.06cups of powdered sugar

    Approx 3,5dl/1.5cups of whipped cream

    2,5 tablespoon of sugar

1 pk of chocolate mousse (suitable for 3dl/1.3cups of milk)

3dl/1.3 cups of milk for the mousse

    Preparation:

    *whip cream.

Put 1/4 of the oreos in in a bowl and break them into small pieces

Take the remains of biscuits and put in a bag, and crumble them up to very small pieces

Melt the butter and pour over biscuits crumbs in a bowl and mix it well(!)

Spoon the Oreo paste into the pan, and evenly press onto the bottom of the pan.

Use a 24cm/9.5 inch springform pan. Oh, and parchment paper in the bottom for non stickiness :

Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar until well blended into a smooth paste -add sugar in the end.

Use about half of the whipped cream and stir it gently into the cream cheese paste.

Pour it over the cake base and spread into an even layer.

Take half of those Oreos you set aside in a bowl in the beginning and sprinkle them onto the cake. You could even push them a bit into the cheesy creamy stuff.

Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

    Make the chocolate mousse

Take the rest of the oreo pices and stir them into the mousse

Pour the mixture over the cake and put it in the fridge for an hour -ish.

Add a layer of whipped cream and maybe sprinkle some oreos on top, or as I did get creative with plain chocolate sauce.

This is the hardest part…Let the cake stay in the fridge for another few hours, or maybe until the next day.
